About the Role

As a GW Associate Product Designer you are organized, care about the details, and have a strong intellectual curiosity to learn about how our users interact with our products. You understand that achieving phenomenal design is a team effort and requires collaboration with cross functional partners.

We are looking for an individual who can clearly communicate verbally and through written form to tell stories using personas and scenarios. The ability to develop positive relationships with UX peers, Product Managers, and Engineers, and most importantly, bringing your whole self to work and finding ways to have fun!

About YOU!

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a major in Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, Psychology, Business or any Design program

  • A portfolio of design work or class projects demonstrating your design process

Other Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate your design concepts

  • Ability to explore several design solutions, prototype and iterate based on peer feedback, customer research, and experimentation

  • Seek challenges and responsibilities while modeling a positive outlook even in challenging situations

  • Familiarity with modern design and prototyping software and tools (like Figma)

  • Have an understanding of design system patterns, design principles is a plus
