Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director, Financial Management provides user support through the design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Parking and Operation systems and any support software or hardware for those systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely operating systems analysis, technical support, and problem resolution to end users of systems and hardware supported by FMIS, including the campus parking systems and hardware. Serve as a resource for the administration, operation and maintenance of the supported systems and hardware.
- Provides programming support through analysis, development, and implementation of applications for Operations.
A high level of proficiency in SQL, SQR, Crystal Reports, debugging in client, middle tier, server environment is highly desirable. Developing web applications using web development tools, scripting languages is highly desirable. Working knowledge of People Code and People Tools and the UNIX/AIX environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of People Soft products, specifically Financial and Student Administration is desirable. Ability to work with peers and to share knowledge is required. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to take initiative and prioritize work effectively. Proven ability to diagnose hardware and software problems related to PCs and peripherals.
Knowledge of network systems, protocols, and network connectivity. In addition, experience installing and supporting Windows operating systems is required. The incumbent must also have experience installing new PC applications, upgrading existing applications and documenting them. Excellent customer service skills are required. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively and follow up with customers is essential.

Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related technical field and two (2) years of related experience required.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: Up to $6,667 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,678 - $11,547 per month
