IT Application Support Specialist
Iowa Wesleyan University is seeking to fill the position of IT Application Support Specialist. This is a full time, exempt position responsible for using technology to improve business performance and strategy. As the IT Application Support Specialist, you will use complex problem solving skills to brainstorm software solutions, and then work together in a small group to craft a pitch to present the idea to the company’s decision makers.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Associate’s degree in computer science, or a combination of experience
- Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration
- Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software
- Ability to learn and master employer-specific software
- Complex problem solving
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to diagnose & address application issues
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to diagnose & address application issues
- Ability to use or learn the following business applications
- HelloSign/ DocuSign,
- Great Plains General Ledger
- Zoom Education
- Canvas Learning Management Systems
- CAMS (student information systems database)
- Blackbaud Razors Edge
- G-Suite Applications
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Campus Labs – Beacon Retention Software
