Educational Requirements for the Position
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Two years of related work experience required. Working technical knowledge of current computer multimedia, computer use support, and/or course development and maintenance using emerging technologies, preferably in higher education or experience in a related field. Experience with Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or other Student Success Management Systems preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position
Provides problem analysis and comprehensive assistance to users (classroom-based, hybrid and fully online) of the university’s Learning Management System, incorporated third party software and applications, and any associated technology as required to ensure the goals of the College of Osteopathic Medicine are successfully accomplished. Provides ongoing support, communication, consultation, and training activities to students, staff, and faculty related to academic technology integrations for program support. Serves as the support specialist for the Learning Managing System and growing academic technologies.
