In the role of Grants Financial Associate working at our MACC Fund Research Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This position coordinates the pre-award planning, organization, and preparation, and the post-award administration of various grants assigned to one or more research and/or clinical departments. Interacts with investigators and administrative staff to ensure that grants follow regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. Provides guidance and support to investigators in the identification and development of grant opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates grant submission and proposal activities
  • Prepares, reviews, and monitors grant related budgets and finances.
  • Reviews grant compliance with IRB protocol and clinical trials procedures.
  • Negotiates and coordinates purchases and inventory.
  • Expedites grant submissions and evaluates grant quality.
  • Assists in the creation, negotiation, and administration of grants, contracts, and research proposals.


Preferred Schedule:
Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.


Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of related experience - project managment and or Excel expreince preferred
