In the role of Clinical Research Coordinator I working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Clinical Research Coordinator supports the day to day-to-day research activities for the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, including clinical trials.investigator initiated research and quality improvement projects. Provides support to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program’s goals.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, screen, enroll and obtain consent from program participants. Conduct or coordinate training for program participants.
- Coordinate research protocols including arranging necessary appointments and procedures, working collaboratively with other departments and institutions, and maintaining contact with study participants
- Prepare IRB documents and reports, including all new research protocol submissions (multi-center and investigator initiated), protocol amendments, continuing reviews and adverse event reporting
- Work with Principle Investigator to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data. Report program data and progress to program stakeholders.
- Identify problems or obstacles in the system/procedures related to implementation of the research protocols and communicate to the study investigators.
- Assure compliance with all relevant IRB and other regulatory agency requirements, including compliance with all HIPAA regulations, FDA requirements, institutional and all sponsor-directed regulatory procedures
Preferred Schedule:
M-F 8am-5pm; Full time role with expectations for coverage within core business hours and flexibility to meet business needs.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education: Associate degree
Minimum Required Experience: 1 year
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Experience: Clinical research and database development experience preferred
Certification: CITI and GCP training within 90 days of hire
