Executive Director of Policy Analysis and Information: The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is seeking an Executive Director of Policy Analysis and Information. HACU undertakes extensive work at the federal and state levels to strengthen educational opportunities for Hispanic students. Our work includes analyzing proposed changes in government policies, conducting research on the implications of educational policy, and providing programs to support our member institutions. The right candidate will demonstrate an ability to maintain high standards of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Director of Policy Analysis and Information must be able to work on multiple tasks both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team, interpret, critique, and explain academic and other original research and apply it to policy work. Ithe deal candidate must have the ability to think creatively about how to express the ramifications of policy proposals and political developments across issues. Master’s degree in higher education or related social science field is required. A doctorate in related field is strongly preferred. Relevant prior experience, 2-3 years of relevant legislative or policy experience. Three-years of experience in higher education, a K-16 educational setting, or related work required. Bilingual-English/Spanish Skills a Plus. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. (Located in San Antonio, TX)
