Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director of Student & PK-12 Services the Student Services Manager assists with program management, coordination, and programmatic assistance for the HACU Student Services department to allow them to meet stated goals. Specific responsibilities include managing accounts for the Corporate Internship Program, helping coordinate the ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute at HACU’s Annual Conference, assists in the management of the Scholarship Program, and assists the Executive Director and Assistant Director with other department projects. The Student Services Manager helps coordinate travel logistics for students participating in internships or HACU’s Annual Conference including contacting students, arranging their airfare and/or other transportation, and arranging lodging for students and other faculty/staff sponsored by corporate and federal partners at Annual Conference. This individual assists with local, state, and national recruitment for Student Services Student Track, scholarships, and corporate internships. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Student & PK-12 Services supports the corporate internship program, including sourcing, and making logistical arrangements for corporate interns’ travel including housing research and placement. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent required; two to four years of related experience and/or training preferred. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects with competing deadlines. Bilingual-English/Spanish Skills a Plus. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. (Located in San Antonio, TX)
