Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives

Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives: HACU is seeking an experienced professional who can manage and advance the HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) with federal, state, and non-profit agencies. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Federal Relations and HNIP, the Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of HNIP. He/she will be responsible for managing programmatic and funding efforts in conjunction with partner organizations within a set budget. The Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for the development and management of a robust and active alumni program, and he/she will be responsible for making data-informed decisions through the development and use of programmatic surveys. The Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives will also be responsible for writing a comprehensive strategic plan every year that will identify and outline new programming, innovative marketing strategies, untapped revenue streams, and new partnerships.
