Job Description

HNIP Program Manager of Internships: Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Federal Relations & HNIP, the PM assists in managing the day-to-day operations of HNIP and its critical components around communication with students and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have demonstrated competence in communicating with students and stakeholders who play a critical role in HNIP. The PM serves as a liaison with federal government supervisors provides guidance to federal government agencies on the implementation of a successful student internship program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts is a must. This individual must be a team player, a self-starter, able to multitask, a critical thinker, and a problem solver. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in education, communication, business, social science, or related field. S/he will possess a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in higher education student services or internship management. This person should have a passion to promote professional development for student advancement. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. (Located in Washington, D.C.)
