Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Development Coordinator support needs of the Development and Marketing Department, which includes the Assistant Vice President of Advancement and Marketing, Executive Director of Development, and Development Manager with a focus on assisting in the coordination and facilitation of departments’ programs and initiatives. Some of the essential duties in this role include coordination of all donations in Raiser’s Edge and HACU’s databases (Excel), responsible for gift entry process and creation and tracking of invoices in Raiser’s Edge and monthly reconciliation with the Finance Department, preparation of ad solicitation lists, emails and make follow up telephone calls to prospective advertisers, coordination of space reservations & placement, billing and sending publication sample(s) of final ads to advertisers Associate's degree in the following fields is required: Business Administration, Fundraising/Development, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations, or related field from accredited college or university. One-year related experience and/or training is preferred. Previous work with Development, Fundraising, and/or Marketing is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint Microsoft Office products, is required. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge technology and/or other database management systems is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. (Located in San Antonio, TX)
