JSI and World Education
Job Description
DESCRIPTION
How we work:
We pride ourselves on being a workplace where people from a wide variety of lived experiences have the freedom to pursue their passions and take an active part in shaping the future of our work. We have a bias toward action: We do research with the explicit intent of influencing policy change and changes in practice and have results to show it. We understand that the public health field needs to reflect the diversity of our communities and are committed to building a diverse, and inclusive team.
Our organizational culture is strong—we care about each other as coworkers and as individuals and strive to extend flexibility to staff so that they can manage life, while still meeting the demands of the job. We are committed to each others' success and view performance evaluations as collaborative experiences for growth and development.
We expect the Project Associate to work collaboratively with team members and be able to lead and follow through on various assigned tasks. For this role, the Project Associate may choose to work in-person in one of the JSI Health Services U.S. based offices or work remotely.
About the role:
We are hiring a full-time Project Associate to join our U.S. Health Services division. JSI is committed to supporting the development and growth of early career professionals joining the field, and as such, this position is designed to provide a breadth of exposure to multiple areas of domestic public health and public health policy. For this role, we’re looking for someone who embraces opportunities for growth and thrives in technical assistance and data analytic roles and responsibilities with quick turnaround times. With support and guidance of a supervisor, the Project Associate will work closely with teams across multiple projects simultaneously with a high-level of individual accountability.
Our project teams are still largely conducting business in a hybrid format, and we work diligently to ensure all staff feel a sense of connection and belonging to at least one office. The candidate hired for this position will be assigned to our Northern New England group based in Bow, NH. The hiring team does have the discretion to offer remote employment to eligible candidates residing in a state where JSI currently does business by the first date of employment: AR, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, USVI, VA, VT, WA, WI.
Starting annual salary is $52,500 - $56,700 (depending on years of experience) plus excellent benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, and a 401k with a company match.
