Job Description
Finance Coordinator: Reporting to the Director of Finance and Accounting, the Finance Coordinator is in full charge of all aspects of intern payroll, including but not limited to enrolling interns, processing and reviewing payroll, preparing reports for finance and HR, monitoring state notices, and assists the finance department with accounts payable and cash receipts. The Finance Coordinator serves as the point of contact for interns regarding payroll-related questions. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, setting deadlines for submission of timesheets, ensuring completion and timely filing of quarterly reports, following up on state tax accounts and ensuring compliance with all state and federal payroll regulations, and coordinating with HACU’s payroll processing provider to make any necessary corrections. High school diploma/GED required. Associate degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Accounting related field; or two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education & experience. Experience in payroll processing. Experience using Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of other MS Office applications and strong communication skills are necessary for this role. Bilingual-English/Spanish Skills a Plus. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. (Located in San Antonio, TX)
