Position Function: Serve as a member of the Leaves Administration team. Will administer all university leaves and accommodation programs in adherence to state and federal regulations, as well as University policies, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FML) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the self-insured and self-administered Worker’s Compensation program, including investigating, processing and monitoring claims.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience in human resources. Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a business related field, such as Human Resources, Management, Organizational Leadership, etc. At least one year experience administering Family Medical Leave Act, ADA, and/or Worker’s Compensation. Experience working with medical documentation and HIPAA compliance. PHR or SPHR certification.
