Executive Director, Institute of Global Engagement: Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Programs and Services, carries out day-to-day activities as they relate to the recruitment and retention of international HACU member institutions and affiliates; the coordination of internationally focused conferences and events; and the development and maintenance of global partnerships consistent with established goals, objectives, scope, budget and policies. Develops, implements and maintains international membership recruitment and retention program. Analyzes, assesses and reports on membership growth and retention, and identifies potential international member institutions. Serves as advocate for issues of concern or interest to international members, and as liaison between international members and HACU staff. A minimum of four to five years related experience and/or training. Strong planning, project management and administrative skills. Must be organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects with competing deadlines. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required, master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills required, in both English and Spanish. Must be fully bilingual.
