The Office of the Provost welcomes applications for two opportunities for Director of Budget and Resource Planning. .

Position Function:
Develop and manage budgets for University Divisions/Colleges/Departments as assigned by the Office of the Provost. Provide guidance/advice to unit leaders, including actively participating in budget and finance planning sessions, advising unit leaders of financial impact of decisions or strategic initiatives, evaluating the fiscal health of the unit(s), and identifying opportunities for strategic resource allocation. Provide budget and finance support and act as liaison for the assigned Divisions/Colleges/Departments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university. At least three years of experience in financial management. Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written, to internal and external constituents and apply a high degree of analytical, sensitivity, interpretive and evaluative skills dealing with complex concepts, projects, etc. Analyze complex financial and statistical data and prepare reports, summary conclusions, and recommendations for University leadership. Advise and collaborate with senior management on financial and budget issues. Exercise independent judgment and utilize diplomacy in handling sensitive matters. Plan, organize, lead and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, meet schedules and due dates, and adjust plans due to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, accounting, finance, or related area from an accredited college or university. Experience in college or university financial planning and/or administration.
