Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job Area(s) of specialization is open with primary consideration given to candidates who will contribute to the Department’s undergraduate and graduate educational missions, our program of externally-funded research, and service. Educational Requirements for the Position Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related academic field.
Experience Required for the Position The successful candidate is expected to teach core courses in the Department’s academic degree programs, have an active research agenda that includes a strong publication record, to seek external funding to support research, and commit to mentoring students.
Other Requirements for the Position The successful candidate should have an established record of scholarship, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank for which they are applying.
