Usual duties:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music theory and musicianship (sight singing and aural skills), and other duties as needed by the School of Music.
Degree Requirements:
Ph.D in Music Theory is required.
Experience Requirements:
All applicants will be considered, but particular interest will be given to applicants with strong pedagogical skills and a successful record of teaching at the university level, an established research agenda, as well as a dedication to service and teaching.
Other Requirements for the Position:
All School of Music faculty members are expected to maintain a record of service and creative/scholarly productivity that indicates continuing growth of national and international visibility. The applicant must work cooperatively in a dynamic environment and be committed to undergraduate education and student success.
