For example, this could include curriculum refinement, or supervision of laboratory teaching assistants, or supervision of student projects at the new off-campus observatory (currently under construction and expected to open in Fall 2023). This domed facility will house a 28" telescope from PlaneWave Instruments and the advertised position includes full observing privileges.

This position will be based at the main SHSU campus in Huntsville, Texas.
