Usual duties:
This faculty member will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses with an anticipated course load of 3/3. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Additionally, this faculty member will initiate and collaborate in research and grant activities leading to scholarly publications and will participate fully in departmental, college, and university meetings and committees.

Degree Requirements:
Earned Doctorate in reading, literacy, or related fields.

Experience Requirements:
Three years of experience in K-8 schools in ELAR settings and developed or developing research agenda in the field of literacy education.

Other Requirements for the Position:
Preferred experiences include working with field-based elementary school sites, university teaching, reading specialist certification, literacy coaching, teaching in the area of diagnosis and treatment of clinical reading difficulties, and teaching online courses are preferred. Candidates should have the potential for developing collaborative partnerships with the community.
