Job Summary
Under the general supervision and direction of the Procurement Director, the Procurement Programs Specialist provides operational oversight for all aspects of the University's Procurement Card (ProCard) Program, the Office Supply Program, and the campus on-line order systems (CSUBuy, Amazon Business, etc.). Serves as the customer service contact for the Procurement Programs and will assist campus users with system access, new user accounts, account changes and updates, and policy issues. Reviews monthly post audit infraction reports received from Accounts Payable with management and notifies campus users as necessary on post audit findings/results. Responsible for generating regular and ad hoc reports on Procurement Programs performance and makes recommendations for program revisions/improvements. Conducts training for campus users on Procurement Programs guidelines and procedures. Signature Authority is set at $10,000 which may be increased upon written notification of the Director of Procurement.

- Skill in research, development, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
- Ability to formulate recommendations for procedural improvements.

- Ability to train others on new skills and procedures.
- Ability to work with multiple priorities simultaneously and change priorities as needed.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex procedural and policy information clearly and accurately.
- Through knowledge of State, CSU and University guidelines, regulations and policies regarding procurement and the demonstrated ability to apply these rules, regulations, and policies to the procurement process.
- Strong technical skills to administer on-line programs.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development, or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, guidelines, practices, or programs plus three (3) years of related experience.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: $4,170 - $5,167 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,170 - $7,545 per month.
