Position Function: The Clinical Placement Coordinator works collaboratively with School of Nursing leadership, faculty, staff, and students to establish and expand clinical placements for students. This position also works collaboratively with health care facilities, healthcare providers, and preceptors to arrange student placement and meet baccalaureate and graduate programs’ clinical outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Higher Education, or related field. Two or more years of related experience.

Minimum Other:

  • Willingness and ability to travel and a flexible schedule as necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with databases and Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.).
  • Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students, and others.

Preferred Qualifications: Earned master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by date of employment. Experience with advising graduate students. Proficient and effective interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of university policies and procedures, academic requirements, campus resources, student life, and support services.
