Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
• Direct and contribute to the development and delivery of neuroscience curriculum to the osteopathic medical students.
• Mentor research projects involving osteopathic medical students’ participation
Educational Requirements for the Position
A PhD, DO, MD or equivalent terminal degree in a related field from an accredited University is required.
Experience Required for the Position
At least 2 years of teaching experience in an academic institution at the graduate or professional level. Teaching experience to medical students is required. Good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively and congenially within a diverse faculty is required. Candidate should present a plan for scholarly activity, including publications and presentations commensurate with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.Other Specifications
Experience using different teaching methods, which can include case-based learning, ‘flipped classroom,’ interactive large group presentation, audience response systems, and curriculum delivery systems (Blackboard) is highly preferred.Full-Time Tenure Track
