Job Summary
The Production and Software Coordinator will establish and supervise the maintenance of a comprehensive filing system for all project files within Design and Construction Services. The incumbent will lead, research, and implement development of document control system for use by Beach Building Services. This will include research of various technologies, conversations with consultants and research of licensing costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and supervise the maintenance of a comprehensive filing system for all project files within Design and Construction Services including Campus As-Builts, Operation and Maintenance Files, and Record Documents, ISES, GIS, Geotechnical report database, Campus wide Topography, and ADA Masterplan.
- Maintain data base for all warranties campus wide.
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive building information database in GIS for analysis.
- Manage and maintain project management software.
- Work with Facilities Management, Facility Project Services, and internal design team to create a data base of drawing details and management for typical usage for self-performed projects.
- Assist the design team, Facilities Project Services, and Facilities Management with any design document creation as needed.
Demonstrated ability and experience with GIS (Geographic Information System) databases. Hands on experience and demonstrated strong proficiency using current version of Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Access, ArcGIS (ArcMap 10.6+, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Urban, Hub, Dashboards, Field Maps, Indoors, etc.). Mastery of Microsoft Excel. Strong Microsoft Office and Project skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to gather information from field notes. Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to make clear and concise oral and written reports and presentations. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, faculty, students and others. Ability to create and upkeep the CAD and GIS Design Standards

Education and Experience
Required experience:
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related experience.
Preferred experience:
A Bachelors of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a technical background where GIS, AutoCAD ,Excel and data analysis have been part of the curriculum preferred.
Five years preferred; comparable experience will be considered. Experience must include the self-generated creation of Site Plans, Floor Plans, Construction Detail and other documents that are necessary to document design intent. Experience with data base management preferred, with evidence of computerized document management experience. Experience with working with in a facilities management and construction setting preferred. Experience working in a university or large institutional setting preferred.

Compensation
The salary range for this classification is $3,288 to $6,347 per month.

Time Base
Full-time temporary position for three years with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
