Educational Requirements for the Position
Master’s Degree in counseling or related field required. Must have a current Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) license. Educational Diagnostician certification or previous experience grading testing protocols required. May require Board Certification. One year of experience in a related field.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Leads 12 experiential group sessions to meet requirements for the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
Primary Responsibilities
Conducts and leads 12 experiential group sessions (6 sessions in Huntsville and 6 sessions at the Woodlands Center) per semester to meet the requirements for the CACREP accreditation. Records, logs, and fills out paperwork to be returned to the department. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications
These are part-time, temporary, hourly, non-benefits eligible positions working 19 hours or less per week. Position is expected to end on or before 8/31/2023.
