Job Summary
The Assistant Module Lead of Admissions will assist with module maintenance and support, test and troubleshoot issues, and assign appropriate security to users of Admissions systems.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Module maintenance and support
  • Assigns and monitors appropriate security to end-users of the admissions modules within the student information systems
  • Performs curricular and articulation updates in the student information systems to support transfer admissions, test & transfer credit, and graduation
  • Creates and maintains documentation delivers training courses in support of the Admissions modules within the student information systems
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to organize and plan multiple priorities and to carry out assignments with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex situations and data, and take appropriate actions within established procedures, as well as make recommendations on improvement of administrative procedures, practices, and/or programs. Knowledge of information systems, preferably Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot and resolve system related problems. Demonstrated ability to create effective program documentation, communication, and training materials. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective system-related training programs. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Demonstrated ability to communicate with ethnically and culturally diverse communities. Maintains a safe work environment. Communicates with the University community in a civil manner. Knowledge of and ability to use: MS Word, MS Excel, Remedy Help Desk Software, PeopleSoft. Treats all customers (students, faculty and staff colleagues) with dignity and respect, empathy, fairness and professionalism, consistent with the university mission, values and strategic vision. Ensures operational integrity and continuity by maintaining detailed descriptions of responsibilities, ranging from daily tasks to strategic activities and outcomes, and makes them available to supervisor. Ensures quality, usability and integrity of system data by working within approved processes and testing procedures.

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.

Compensation
The salary range for this classification is $3,288 to $6,347 per month.

Time Base
Full-time temporary position for one (1) year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
