Education and Experience
Equivalent to an academic degree or certificate from an approved college or university-based Nurse Practitioner program and must be clinically competent in a medical specialty applicable to the position, with the ability to perform the duties of a Nurse Practitioner within that specialty.
Sufficient experience to independently perform the scope of practice identified for the position. Experience in both primary care and reproductive health. National certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
Licenses / Certificates
Possession and maintenance of a valid California license as a Registered Nurse and a BRN certificate as a Nurse Practitioner as required by the California Board of Registered Nursing. If delegated authority to furnish medications, the incumbent must possess and maintain a valid BRN Furnishing Certificate, CPR certificate, and a valid DEA number and certificate required. CA Driver's License preferred.
Student Health Services
The salary range for this classification is $5,690 to $10,979 per month.

Full-time temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
