Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Academic Technology, Strategy and Innovation, this position assists with the coordination and facilitation of the Student Perception of Teaching (SPOT) evaluation process. This position assists with communications, leads training sessions, creates support materials, audits data, and aids the paper-based and online evaluation processes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Helps communicate with departments about the SPOT process including timing, course selection, and support.
  • Assists in the creation, management, and troubleshooting of courses in the current Course Evaluation system (i.e. Qualtrics).
  • Supports team projects related to academic technology, strategy and innovation.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of statistical procedures and principles. Working knowledge of Qualtrics. Working knowledge of statistical software such as Tableau, SPSS, SAS. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals. Knowledge of virtual communication platforms such as Zoom and Teams

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
  • Equivalent to three years of administrative support experience required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Research Methodology, or related field is preferred.
  • Recent relevant work experience related to Higher Education evaluation and assessment is desired.

Compensation
The salary range for this classification is $3,120 to $4,592 per month.

Time Base
Full-time temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
