The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities, a residential school for academically gifted high school juniors and seniors, welcomes applications for full time contract position for the academic year. The Academy is located on the campus of Ball State University.

Description: The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities is a residential school for academically gifted high school juniors and seniors devoted to the education of students who demonstrate extraordinary intellectual ability and a commitment to scholarship. The curriculum is designed to enable students to understand the past, investigate the present, and plan for the future. The Indiana Academy is located on the campus of Ball State University. This is a full-time contract position for the academic year. Primary responsibilities include teaching General Physics, AP Physics, and electives as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Physics, Physics Education, Astronomy, or related field. Previous teaching experience at the secondary or undergraduate collegiate level.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to teach a science elective such as astronomy, engineering, computer science, neuroscience, or another science elective.
