Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Course requirements may include teaching on-campus studio and lecture classes at the main campus in Huntsville and online courses, depending on the needs of the academic department. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis. The selected applicant may teach Junior and Senior design studios, space planning, design theory, and materials.

Educational Requirements for the Position
The ideal candidate would possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in interior design or a related field.
Experience Required for the Position
A minimum of three years of professional design experience is required.
Experience teaching undergraduate students at the college level is preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe creative suite is required.
- NCIDQ certification is preferred.
