Ball State University welcomes application for an Associate Director of Student Life. As a member of the Office of Student Life Leadership Team, the Associate Director is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the fraternity and sorority community which is comprised of three governing councils, 30 chapters, and over 1900 members. The Associate Director is responsible for providing educational, cultural, and leadership development programs, services, and resources to the fraternity and sorority community while promoting the success and contributions of Greek organizations and their leaders.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education by the date of appointment. Experience working with college students, advising fraternities and sororities, evidence of skills in program planning and implementation; oral and written communication skills; experience supporting diverse student populations and creating inclusive environments.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education by the date of appointment in student affairs, college student personnel, higher education administration, counseling, or a related field. Three to five years of full-time professional experience in higher education; previous professional work experience with fraternities and sororities; experience in the area of risk mitigation, health and safety initiatives, and prevention programs; supervisory experience. Membership in an international fraternity or sorority.
