Job Description

The University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for Faculty Lecturer positions to join the Department of Psychology and contribute to our robust undergraduate and graduate programs. This recruitment is part of a broader departmental initiative and investment where several new faculty members are expected to be hired. These multiple-year and non-tenure track positions (3-year appointments) are renewable, with clear career developmental pathways and dedicated mentorship to facilitate long-term advancement. Successful applicants are expected to have evidence of teaching excellence and demonstrated success with a diverse and multicultural student body. Candidates with potential and interest in teaching graduate courses within one or more of the department’s doctoral programs in Behavioral Sciences, Clinical Psychology, and/or Counseling Psychology are strongly encouraged to apply. Faculty responsibilities include teaching online and face-to-face, developing new courses, advising and mentoring undergraduate students, and sharing service duties. Reviews of applications begin January 10th, 2022, and will continue until the positions are filled.
