Position Description: This position supports the daily responsibilities associated with the Office of the Dean of Students, including student care/concern/support and Title IX compliance. The Assistant Dean of Students will support general student concerns and serve in the capacity of a Title IX Investigator conducting investigations of incidents, as reported to and in close collaboration with the Title IX Coordinator. This role acts as a neutral party in the investigation and provides a detailed unbiased report regarding the findings of the investigation, in accordance with Title IX requirements.
The minimum salary for this position is $55,000.00.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution. At least three years of experience in higher education. Ability to respond to sensitive issues, work effectively and communicate effectively (oral and written) with students, faculty, staff, and parents; personal computer skills.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in education, higher education, leadership, counseling, social work, criminal justice, law, or related field. Three (3) years relevant experience. This may include specific experience as a professional, graduate assistant, intern, or law clerk working in Title IX case management, adjudication, or with an agency that supports or adjudicates civil rights related matters. Experience conducting investigations and case management. Experience conducting investigations alleging discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual violence is required. Knowledge, experience and training in handling issues related to gender-based violence preferred. Previous experience using Maxient software.
