Job Description

The Voting System Technical Oversight Program (VSTOP) is looking for a qualified individual to manage and monitor the daily activities of the Professional Staff, as well as graduate assistants and student assistants. This is a very integral position relating to the success of VSTOP

Position Function: Manage and oversee all activities and professional staff personnel for the Voting System Technical Oversight Program (VSTOP); monitor all VSTOP activities carried out by VSTOP professional personnel on a day-to-day basis; provide daily supervision to all VSTOP professional staff personnel; provide supervision of graduate assistants and student assistants working for VSTOP; attend conferences, workshops, seminars and training sessions as needed and for the purpose of facilitating the management of VSTOP projects.

Minimum Qualifications: Master of Public Administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. One year of experience working in an organization or program focused on election administration and technology (i.e., voting systems, electronic poll books) with experience in supervising other employees. At least one year of experience writing professional reports. Strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills. Must be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team setting. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications: Over one year of experience in an organization or program focused on election technology (voting systems, electronic poll books) with experience in supervising other employees.
