Ball State University welcomes applications for an Associate Director of Admissions. In collaboration with the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Planning and Management and the Director of Admissions and Orientation and its leadership staff, assist the Office of Admissions and Orientation in meeting its enrollment goals by actively participating in recruitment and yield programming initiatives targeting prospective students and coordinating selected visit programs; supervise the welcome center staff and tour guides; collaborate with campus faculty and staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution. At least three years of relevant educational or outreach work experience. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral) with a customer service orientation; ability to speak before large groups or audiences; comfort and experience with computer technology; ability to load and transport admissions materials, displays, and other equipment; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Five years of professional-level experience in related fields of admissions and/or higher education, supervision, work with Slate CRM, travel recruitment and territory management, marketing and communications. Experience working with underrepresented student populations.
The minimum salary for this position is $55,000.00.
