Ball State University welcomes applications for an Associate Director of Student Financial Services and Operations. The Associate Director of Student Financial Services and Operations will oversee the day to day operations of cashiering, cash collections, tax intercept program and loan administration, using excellent customer service, financial and accounting skills to help our students maintain good financial standing that will allow them to continue their educational pursuits.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. At least five years of customer service experience in a financial institution or university setting. Experience with conflict resolution in a workplace setting; supervisory experience. Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service; skilled in effectively managing confrontational situations; must possess excellent communication skills; proficient in Excel.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance. University or financial institution experience with at least three years supervisory experience. Ellucian (Banner) ERP system experience, CASHNet, Argos and other report writing skills. Proficient in Access.
