AVP of Admissions at Ball State University has a full-time professional position available as Communications Manager. This position will: in collaboration with the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and its leadership staff, support the Office of Admissions and Orientation in meeting its enrollment goals by conceptualizing, writing, editing, proofreading, designing, collaborating with University Marketing and Communications, and producing recruitment, yield, and orientation communications; oversee office social media accounts; manage multiple projects simultaneously; participate as a member of the communications team.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by time of appointment. At least one year of relevant educational or marketing/public relations experience. Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in student affairs, education, emerging media/design, communication, or related field. Experience with graphic design, social media, websites; experience copy writing, digital, web, and social media; solid understanding of technology, demonstrating strong knowledge of computers and software applications such as Adobe InDesign and Customer Relationship Management; demonstrated ability to multi-task working with deadlines and changing environments; manage multiple projects simultaneously.
