Seeking to accelerate our vision to be the exemplar catalyst for innovation and advancement of the profession of public health, locally and globally, the University of South Florida College of Public Health invites applications for four tenure-earning faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the fields of Maternal and Child Health and Epidemiology.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic faculty actively engaged in shaping the future of public health through innovative curricula, transformational research, and community partnerships designed to create a positive collective impact on health. We seek individuals who are passionate about Public Health and are interested in multi-disciplinary and cross-departmental/college teamwork with expertise which may include, but not be limited to, health equity, maternal/infant health, child/adolescent health, women’s health, sexual/reproductive health, family/community violence, injury, perinatal epidemiology and/or cancer epidemiology. At the rank of Associate Professor, we require individuals to have a continued record of collaborative research and scholarship and current extramural funding.

Part of USF Health, which includes the core colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, and Pharmacy, and the schools of Biomedical Sciences and Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences, the College of Public Health was founded in 1984 as the first college of public health in Florida and consists of a multidisciplinary faculty of 84 scholars, professionals, and leaders serving the educational needs of more than 4,500 students in bachelors, master’s and doctoral degree programs. COPH is organized into four Strategic Areas: Global and Planetary Health; Interdisciplinary Science and Practice; Policy, Practice, and Leadership; and Population Health Science.
