Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor of Elementary Education

Ball State University

The Department of Elementary Education is seeking five (5) full-time, temporary (one-year) contract faculty members whose strength and experience is in the area of curriculum and instruction and/or literacy education. Available August 20, 2021. Primary responsibilities include teaching on-campus undergraduate courses in elementary education, partnering with school and community agencies, and performing other duties assigned by the department chairperson.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in elementary education or related field from an accredited institution and at least three years of elementary classroom teaching experience.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in elementary education or related field from an accredited institution, university teaching experience, knowledge and experience working with diverse learners, and experience partnering with schools and/or community agencies.
