Albion College invites applications for the Assistant Director of Campus Life position. We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports equity, diversity, and belonging. The Assistant Director of Campus Life (ADCL) is a member of the Office of Campus Life and the Division of Student Development and reports directly to the Assistant Dean for Campus Life. The ADCL leads campus life programming and engagement activities while also co-managing greek life, diversity-equity-inclusion-belonging programming and celebrations across campus, student leader and student organizational development within a social justice, mattering, and integrated wellness framework. The ADCL will support student success through collaboration with the Cutler Center, Campus Wellness, and Community Living and will create and implement high-impact and transformative co-curricular experiences that foster a sense of belonging and community among students, student organizations, and advisors. The ADCL supervises a team of more than 20 student leaders. The ADCL is responsible for developing learning and leading opportunities within a comprehensive campus life program. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize, and assess a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Albion College is an anti-racist institution.
