The Department of Mathematical Sciences is seeking applications for a full-time contract faculty position in Mathematical Sciences beginning August 18, 2023.

Position Function: Teaching approximately 12 hours per term of mathematics courses which may include quantitative reasoning, pre-calculus, calculus, and more advanced courses, depending on Department needs and applicant qualifications. Pursue a program of professional development and perform service activities for the Department.
Evidence of high-quality teaching, continuing professional development, and significant service are necessary to be eligible for reappointment.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a mathematical science or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment, with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in mathematics. Effective written and oral communication skills; commitment to excellence in teaching as demonstrated by a teaching statement and/or teaching evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the college level in undergraduate classes. Master’s degree in mathematics by date of appointment. Doctorate degree in mathematics. Experience or interest in teaching online.
