Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Gift Processing will manage and execute the Gift Processing Department by providing leadership, operational and administrative oversight. The incumbent will also be responsible for reconciliation, reporting, and accounting.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of IRS and other charitable gift processing standards and procedures. Ability to lead a team effectively. Ability to communicate both verbal and written training information to end-users. Ability to maintain working relationships with the university and philanthropic community. Ability to positively interact with administrators, faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and donors. Ability to perform detailed administrative work requiring accuracy and speed. Experience with fiscal reporting, accounting, and finance calculations. Ability to be discrete in handling confidential information. Ability to perform mathematical calculations Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration related field and three (3) years of experience in a related field. Supervisory experience preferred.

Admin Analyst/Specialist - Exempt I
Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: $5,000 - $5,834 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,170 - $7,545 per month

Time Base
Full-time temporary position for one (1) year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
