POSITION AVAILABLE: January 24, 2023
JOB SUMMARY: Coordinates all aspects of the Noble Activity Center operations. Responsible for coordinating student life activities and events.
JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees budget, inventory, and is responsible for cash handling and deposit of revenue.
- Noble Activity Center building supervision and routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Must maintain Pool Manager Certification through the State of Oklahoma.
- Must have basic knowledge of Chemistry-Swimming Pool Chemicals.
- Must be willing to handle and contain toxic chemicals in a safe manner.
- Must have basic knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and work with chemicals daily.
- Coordinates activities held in the center.
- Publishes coordinated schedule of all Center events and activities.
- Supervises Intramural Coordinator.
- Supervises student workers.
- Coordinates student activities and works closely with the Housing Office to promote exceptional student experiences.
- Provide professional advice and assistance to student organizations in planning, organizational development and student activities.
- Collaborate with student groups and departments across campus to host events year round on campus.
- Strategically plan and host events according to a master events calendar to improve student life.
- Actively engage the university and community through service and participation in campus and community events.
- Serves on assigned committees as appointed by Dean of Student Affairs or designee.
- Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example.
- Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
- Must be able to lift more than 50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and
- Can be exposed to a variety of weather conditions for periods of time.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous manner
- Other duties as assigned by Dean of Student Affairs or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in college student activities and recreation is required.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to address large audiences and provide high energy and engaging student experiences.
- Capacity to assist campus groups and departments in developing high impact student experiences.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree is required.
