Ball State University welcomes applications for the University Youth Camp Coordinator for the Indiana Youth Programs on Campus. The University Youth Camp Coordinator will be responsible for conducting the development of general college readiness programming for summer campers as part of the Lilly Endowment IYPC grant. The position will be responsible for hiring and training general session presenters, ensuring that safety protocols for campers are in place and followed, and support college offices with camp coordinator, managing housing, meals and family/student support activities. This position will also assist in developing partnerships with school districts in surrounding counties and to recruit targeted students to participate in camp programs to begin in summer of 2023. This is a grant funded position for a term of three years.

Position Function: The University Youth Camp Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the development of general college readiness programming for summer campers as part of the Lilly Endowment IYPC grant. This position will also assist in developing partnerships with school districts in surrounding counties and to recruit targeted students to participate in camp programs to begin in summer of 2023. This is a grant funded position for a term of three years. This position is grant funded and the individual hired will have an At Will assignment.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution. Experience related to a college or university camp and working on a college campus or experience in the operations of camp programs and program development.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a related field. Five years of related experience in youth program planning and implementation including at least two years of supervisory experience required.

The salary range for this position is: $55,000
