Job Summary
This position is responsible for Project Coordination to ensure successful completion of projects; this includes efforts undertaken by the department as well as the campus in general. This position will ensure standard Project Management methodology is used. This position will have dotted line reporting responsibility to the division's Service Management and Quality Improvement Analyst and be developing communications/announcements to campus constituents and the creation and maintenance of websites and knowledge base articles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on project coordination for IT projects. This includes understanding the scope of the project, analyzing possible solutions, working with the team to establish and enforce project deadlines, coordinating tasks and resources, and ensuring that projects fulfill quality standards. Coordinates go-live project tasks, which often require work after hours or on weekends to limit service impact.
- Develop and maintain IT communications such as email announcements and newsletters, and service web pages and knowledge base articles. Support and create customer service metrics, reports, and related analysis. Manage "live" phishing updated on the Campus Phishing website. Supports other phishing related activities including remediating account activities during and after hours to limit impact of phishing on campus accounts.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, with technical and non-technical individuals within a culturally diverse campus environment. Maintains a professional demeanor. Maintains IT professional standards of anonymity for files that reside on campus servers and computer systems. Maintains confidentiality of all information. Attend and participate in departmental and team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs and objectives of the department and/or division.
Project management experience; human resources experience a plus. Excellent communication and time management skills. Experience with systems analysis desired. Computer proficiency.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Technology) or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required.

Compensation
The salary range for this classification is $4,170 to $7,545 per month.
