Job Summary

This position serves as the office coordinator for the Office of Equity and Diversity (OED). Under the supervision of the Equity & Diversity Specialist, the OED Office Coordinator organizes and coordinates services provided by the office as well as provides administrative support for the effective operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administrative office support for office.
  • Assists with meetings/interviews/trainings.
  • Primary contact for the student and employee online trainings for Title IX, DHR, Clery, CANRA, etc.
  • Assists with the documentation, response, and tracking of campus subpoenas and authorizations.
  • Handles tenure track recruitment tracking for the Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Performs intake duties for employee, student and University third parties.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Maintains a safe work environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft. Ability to provide ongoing excellent customer service, scheduling meetings, and managing phone lines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work with individuals under emotional stress. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and vendors.

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."

The salary range for this classification is $3,432 to $6,081 per month.
