Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to plan, test, implement, and support enterprise cloud solutions using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and related core technologies including, but not limited to, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Exchange, Teams, and AAD Connect.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise-wide cloud solutions within Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Assist Identity Management (IdM) Specialist in the administration, maintenance, and configuration of campus identity management environment.
- Assist Single Sign On (SSO) Specialist in the administration, maintenance, and configuration of the campus single sign on environment.
- Provide level three support to assist the ITS Technology Help Desk (THD) and Desktop Support Group (DSG).
- Administer both Windows and Linux operating systems (OS) including maintaining OS levels, monitoring resource utilization and uptime, and managing security and application updates.
Knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux Enterprise Server. Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols. Knowledge of SQL. Working knowledge of PowerShell or other programing languages. Knowledge of identity management concepts and supporting technologies preferred. Knowledge of single sign-on concepts and supporting technologies preferred.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field and two (2) years of related experience required. Two (2) years of professional experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure preferred. Two (2) years of Windows Server experience including Active Directory (AD), AD Lightweight Directory Server (AD LDS), and Azure AD (AAD) preferred.

The salary range for this classification is $4,678 to $11,547 per month.
