About CCI and Drexel University
Successful applicants will join a world-class, vibrant faculty community in the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI). CCI is uniquely positioned as an interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial research and education leader for the 21st century. CCI’s two departments, Information Science and Computer Science, complement each other to offer trailblazing research and education, and are driving innovation towards the digital future. In recent years, CCI has experienced substantial enrollment growth; recruited a number of new faculty; and has introduced new programs in DS, HCI/UX, AI and Machine Learning, and Business Information Technology (joint with LeBow College of Business). CCI occupies two-and-one-half floors in a brand-new building, constructed in 2019, offering state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, meeting areas, collaboration spaces, and a maker space. With a commitment to further expand the College and grow in key focus areas, CCI seeks intellectually curious and rigorous candidates who are eager to engage in cutting-edge research and teaching.
