Job Summary
Under the general direction of the HR Manager for Academic Resources, the incumbent is responsible for the full scope of project activities related to the initiation, execution, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of HR and Fiscal operations. Provides day-to-day program and organizational support using expertise and initiative in independently analyzing requests and issues to perform work, make recommendations, and develop solutions in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of HR practices and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision. Maintain professional discretion and confidentiality. Excellent organization, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required. Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook). Intermediate MS Excel skills preferred.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to five (5) years of administrative support experience required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred. Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Human Resources and/or Finance preferred.

Compensation
The salary range for this classification is $3,681 to $6,034 per month.

Time Base
Full-time temporary position for one (1) year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
