Job Description
Lifetime Learning is welcoming applications for the Director of Ball State University Satellite Centers. This person will manage the overall administration and operation of the Satellite Centers with a special emphasis on the Fishers Center.

Position Function: Manage the overall administration and operation of the Ball State Satellite Centers with a special emphasis on the Fishers Center, including program planning and facilitation, financial planning, budgeting, facilities scheduling, registration, and evaluation services for lifetime learning programs and special university events offered through the Centers; generate operating income for the university. Some local travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least one year of experience in facilities or event operations and/or marketing, planning, and coordination.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Experience in managing other professional and/or support staff personnel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated commitment to DEI.
- Tolerance for ambiguity;
- Ability to exercise initiative and work without direct supervision;
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in marketing, public relations, business, journalism, political science, or related area.
